STOP COVID-19

1. RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

· When booking, we politely request the filling of the entire guest profile, followed by its timely submission, to facilitate the check-in process and the stay

· At the time of booking guests will be asked how they wish to be contacted by the reception of Areias do Seixo during the stay, focusing on electronic and/or personal telephone through written messages

· We will privilege the allocation of guests in rooms which can be accessed directly from the outside (out of the 15, only 3 rooms do not have this option)

· Flexible cancellation policy: in case of booking cancellation due to Coronavirus, there will be no charge, provided that Areias do Seixo is informed up to 48 hours before the check-in date

2. ACCESS THE HOTEL

· Exclusive access to guests, for any service (visitors not allowed)

· Guests staying in Villas and Townhouses will not be allowed to access the hotel main building without prior booking

· Children are not allowed in the hotel even if staying in the Villas or Townhouses

· Hand sanitizer available at hotel access points

3. ACCOMMODATION

· Whenever possible, guests will preferably stay in a accommodation unit with direct access to the outside and which has not been occupied the night before

· Guests can opt for different services within or outside the accommodation unit, which will contribute to greater or lesser social isolation

· No accommodation unit, nor any common space, is equipped with air conditioning

· Both check-in and check-out, for stays in Hotel Rooms, will take place at the reception

· Check-in and check-out for stays in Villas and Townhouses will take place at the accommodation unit itself. Guests should inform upon their arrival and departure via phone (call or written message)

· Areias do Seixo tem will be properly protected, using personal protective equipment

4. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

· Reinforcement of cleaning and disinfection practices and measures throughout the day, of materials and existing equipment in accommodation units and common spaces, with special focus on high contact points

· Use of disinfectant products with proven efficiency in the elimination of the virus

· Regular ventilation of all accommodation units and common spaces

· Elimination of high-contact and difficult-to-disinfect elements of housing units and common spaces

· Enhanced care in handling and washing textiles, including sheets and towels

· Properly protected cleaning teams with specific and personal equipment

· Laundry service temporarily unavailable

· Guests may choose whether or not to request Room/Villa/Townhouse cleaning service during their stay, as well as turndown service (room preparation for overnight stay)

5. FOOD AND DRINK SERVICES

· Restaurant for guests only (visitors not allowed)

· Food & Beverage room-service (Rooms/Villas and Townhouses) on request

· Reduced restaurant capacity to ensure safety distance

· We strongly advise our guests to book in advance

· Direct food & drink services for Rooms/Villas and Townhouses, on request, is assured

· Breakfast, included in the rate, requires prior choice

· For guests staying in hotel rooms, breakfast is served in the room or in the restaurant by appointment

· For guests staying in villas and townhouses, breakfast is delivered on the accommodation unit

· New menus better adapted to the current dynamics of the service

· Kitchen and restaurant teams with adapted service to ensure all safety measures, protected with specific personal equipment

· Strengthening HACCP plan measures

· Cleaning and disinfection of the areas used by guests in their meals, after each use

6. EXPERIENCES / ACTIVITIES

· For prevention, some group experiences and activities will be temporarily unavailable. Activities occurring outdoors and/or exclusively for couples and families, separately, will be privileged.

· Detailed and updated information can be accessed on our online concierge, before the stay, as well as on the black board, next to the reception

· We suggest that guests bring their yoga mat

· All our materials and equipment will be disinfected before and after use, as well as the spaces where activities will occur

8. OTHER SPACES AND SERVICES

· Cinema room temporarily unavailable

· Infinity pool only for guests staying in hotel rooms

· Transfer Areias do Seixo/Noah temporarily unavailable

9. SUPPORT FOR COVID-19 SUSPECTED CASES

· Our entire team is able to support our guests in case of emergency or suspicion

· We have direct contact and specialized support with the local health authority - Cluster of Health Centres West South

10. AREIAS DO SEIXO TEAM

· Training of all teams on new procedures

· Uniform must be changed daily at the workplace

· Employees have an individual safety kit for mandatory use

· Employees wear mask/visor from entrance to exit (except for meals)

· Staff Only areas cleaned and disinfected regularly

· Reduction in the number of employees per area

· It is privileged to carry out shifts and the establishment of teams always with the same group of employees

· Encouragement for our staff to acquire baskets with products from our organic garden, for healthy eating and immune system reinforcement

11. SUPPLIERS AND EXTERNAL SERVICES

· Suppliers with "Clean & Safe" seal are preferred

· Suppliers have a prevention and contingency plan

· Social distancing in the delivery of goods

· All non-essential external services temporarily suspended
